Grades:  K–2

            Benchmarks: 

1.   Identify and define authentic problems and significant questions for           investigation.

• Grades K-2:  Students will use teacher provide digital tools to identify, define and formulate questions for investigation to a teacher created question or problem.

2.   Plan and manage activities to develop a solution or complete a       project.

• Grades K-2:  Students will brainstorm ideas and use teacher created activities and graphic organizers to gather and manage information to develop a solution to a problem or complete a project described by the teacher.

3.   Collect and analyze data to identify solutions and/or make informed          decisions.

·         Grades K-2:  Students will utilize teacher created technology to collect and analyze data, make informed decisions or identify solutions to a teacher or student created question or model.

4.    Use multiple processes and diverse perspectives to explore

       alternative solutions.

·         Grades K-2:  Students will use multiple ideas and processes to explore alternative solutions to problem, using digital tools and resources provided by the teacher.

·         Grades 3-6:  Students, with teacher guidance, will collect, organize and analyze data from various technology and media sources to identify solutions or make decisions.

4.    Use multiple processes and diverse perspectives to explore

       alternative solutions.
