    Iowa Financial Aid Application

The Iowa Financial Aid Application for the 2011-12 academic year is now available on the IHaveaPlanIowa.gov web portal. The Iowa Financial Aid Application combines applications for six undergraduate student financial aid programs into one application process. Collectively, these programs provided over $7 million in funding for students in 2009-10 academic year. Students can apply for the following programs through the Iowa Financial Aid Application process:

    All Iowa Opportunity Scholarship (AIOS)

Iowa National Guard Education Assistance Program (NGEAP)

All Iowa Opportunity Foster Care Grant (FCG)

    Education Training Voucher (ETV)

    Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship

Terry E. Branstad Iowa State Fair Scholarship

To complete the application, go to IHaveaPlanIowa.gov, create or sign in to your account, and click on the blue Iowa Financial Aid Application banner.

The Iowa Financial Aid Application simplifies the application process for state aid and ensures that students apply for each state program they may be eligible to receive. This application does not replace the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students need to complete the FAFSA to be considered for other need-based state and federal financial aid. The 2011-12 FAFSA can be completed beginning January 1, 2011 at www.fafsa.gov.
