WESTERN IOWA TECH COMMUNITY COLLEGE has several scholarship opportunities –
1) Valedictorian Scholarships ($3,700),
2) President Scholarships ($1800 – students need a minimum ACT of 22 and a gpa of 2.5),
3) College Now Scholarships ($1200 – Students need to have a C or better on college courses taken while in high school),
4) Board Scholarships ($1200 – Westwood may nominate up to two recipients for this scholarship), and
5) Upward Bound and Talent Search students will be eligible for a $500 scholarship. WIT also has Foundation Scholarships that may be applied for online and range from $500 to $1500. They have a March 9 priority deadline.
